  3. Do a make-believe claim to make sure you are getting  a full roof!
  4. Full payment, Updated Building Codes, Recoverable Depreciation,  if and when you have a weather event.

1. Insurance claim points to understand.

Get the knowledge before you file, all the extras cost you if your insurance claims doesn't pay you.

2. Important! Request a baseline roof inspection with pictures, reports, and any unresolved issues

  1. Avoid  "Free" Inspections, these are a time waster.   Nothing like Joe Blow gobbling up 2 hours of your life, just to get you under contract based on his spoken word, and you still know nothing about your roof.
  2. Nothing in Life is Free that has any worth.  If the opportunity presents itself, Get quality, professional, roof facts  about your home.
  3. Know more than the next roof adjuster! Be prepared when you have that big hail storm! They are ready to deny your claim so be bullet-Proof. Make sure you have dates, real pictures, and roof conditions as a  baseline before the hail hits. These mistakes can cost you a new roof, thousands, or a claim denial  depending on how much detail you request.
  4. A Quality, Professional Roof Inspection can provide you a baseline before a storm hits.  The Roof report  can include many quality documents like photos, video, rooftop examples, measurements, satellite data,  a current market estimate with estimating software, and pictures and data points to potential issues that may affect your roofs ability to protect you.
  5. The Goal of A Roof inspection is to  offer you piece of mind,  knowledge, and a plan if there is problems.  It should allow you first hand quality information so you can make decisions over the next year.

Trees - Did you know that trees that are laying on your roof my be a reason for a future denial.  As the wind blows and they get overloaded with snow or leaves, their movement across the roof removes critical granuals and can make wear marks and ruts on your roof. Don't risk a future denial, schedule a tree cleanup if your trees are ruining your roof.
  2. Gutters - If your gutters are full, when you need them they can prevent drainage and allow the water and snow to ruin your eaves on your home.   Your Insurance will not pay for deck rot from bad gutters.
